Wowza. What a woman! The strength and power of a woman giving birth never ceases to amaze me. Her labor wasn’t textbook (when are they) but she handled it amazingly, listening to what her body needed and communicating what did and didn’t work for her.
My favorite thing I think I get to witness is when a mother meets her child for the first time 
It’s a mix of straight love and a sense of amazement that they just birthed them (whether vaginally or by belly).
Dad was deployed and was able at the last minute to come home, they had some really sweet time together before Caine decided to join them a few days before he had to go back.
Also, dad was a Texan, so he made sure that Caine was born over Texas soil!
