I know this mama from way back…I think we figured out at least 14 years! I narrowly missed being a back up at her first birth, but was more than excited when she asked us (she had invited Sydney) to come along for the second little one!
We thought (and kind of planned) that Edith was going to make an early entrance like her sister…but she had other plans! We politely asked her to come and she obliged. We chatted and laughed through out the day and when things got intense, she listened to what her body needed and her partner stepped up and stepped in.
It is always my favorite thing to watch women and their partners ask questions and take their care into their own hands.
