This is one tough mama! She did all she could to encourage this baby boy to flip, and he just decided he was comfortable where he was.
And now he’s right where he should be!
But we are ever so grateful for a provider that advocated for their wishes in the OR, even though some of them didn’t happen, they were fought for.
It was so frustrating to hear “there are 4-5 generations that haven’t been trained in breech birth”. That shouldn’t be the case. The answer shouldn’t be “this is so dangerous we won’t train” but should be “we should train for everything”.
Even providers who are trained have their hands tied within the systems they work for to not help women have the births they desire…
…more so deserve to have.
