After a couple of weeks of prodromal labor off and on, Ms Brooke decided she would wait til the last minute and kickstart her entrance fast and hard.
Contractions started at 2-3 minutes apart, so when I got to mama we decided to go to a closer hospital…well…after this vbac mama politely said “No, thank you” mid contraction to being told she should go ahead and get a cesarean, we packed up and headed to her provider hospital.
She labored beautifully through the night and when she was told it was time to push we all cried. And then when Brooke was born less than 20 minutes of pushing we cried more.
Another redeeming story of grit and strength and advocacy!
