Welcome to the Collective! My goal has always been to create a team of birth workers to be able to serve mothers and families through their diverse needs. Each of our doulas have the same mindset when it comes to caring for families, and also come with their own personal passions and interests. Our goal is to match you with the doula that would best suit your needs.

Hey! I’m Cara Ginnel, owner of Doting Doula Birth Services. I’m living my dream, serving mothers and families through the most precious time of their lives. I have been married to my best friend since 2002, and am a mother of 4 (all grown up) children, and have lots of four legged friends. I started the process of becoming a Postpartum Doula in 2019 to offer care to a dear friend and pursue it as a career, and honestly thought that is what I would be most passionate about! Little did I know I would start the paths to becoming a Childbirth Educator and Birth Doula as well!

I’m enthusiastic, and intuitive and will do all I can to help you navigate your pregnancy, birth and postpartum dreams. My focus is building strong relationships with the families I serve, while educating and empowering you. The team you will meet here are very dear to me! It doesn’t necessarily feel like I chose them, they chose me and I am so privileged to work alongside of them.

Hey, Sydney Ginnel here! I’ve recently had a career change, going from Leadership at my local Chick-fil-A to pursue what I believe I am called to do. I’m currently working on certifications both in Postpartum and Birth Work. I love being creative and coming up with DIY projects! I recently purchased my late Great Grandparents house and spent a year renovating it (still a work in progress). I have the best roommate ever! Her name is Mia, she’s a three legged Mini Aussie that I rescued when I was 17.

My focus as a Doula is to be able to provide support and care during this big transition of life. Whether that is through being a listening ear or a helping hand, offering words of encouragement and extending grace.

Hi! I’m Kayla Neff and I recently graduated with a bachelor’s in biology and minor in psychology. A couple of courses that I enjoyed during my studies delved into human development, genetics and mycology. During my free time, I love to go on walks to look at the mushrooms along the way, take care of my plants, and spend time with my friends and family..My interest in being a doula stems from my own experience as a young mother. I had a postpartum doula for both of my daughters and it opened my eyes to the importance of care for both the baby and mom. I love helping others and my goal as a doula is to provide the same care that I received.

Hi, I’m AnnaBelle Hodges. I recently graduated high-school as a classically educated student. I studied at Classical Conversations for 10 years, and was able to graduate alongside my best friends. My favorite things include time with the Lord, reading, coffee, and my cats.

I have had a huge desire to pursue birthwork for a long time. In my junior year of high school I was ready to pursue becoming a doula and have been mentoring under Cara Ginnel since 2023. I am in the process of getting my Labor and Postpartum Doula certifications, following with VBAC certification, with a desire to become a Breastfeeding Educator.

My goal is to serve mothers, comfort them through their journey, and equip them for pregnancy, labor, and the postpartum journey.

Hi, I’m Evie Barnes! I’m a very bubbly, sweet, encouraging and headstrong person. I moved from my home state of Mississippi to Georgia eight years ago. I’ve always had a love for children and the development of them and I love getting to talk with parents an helping to encourage them through this life-changing time in their life. Being a parent is not always the easiest thing in the world and being there for a family whenever they have that special time is something that I’ve always cherished.

I really want specialize in postpartum period, supporting mothers not only through physical support but focusing on emotional and mental support.

I hope to help and support your family as it grows!
